Jump Rope for Heart is back and better than ever!

Parents,

This past Tuesday, your child should have received an envelope in their Tuesday Folders for Jump Rope for Heart. If they did not receive this envelope, there are extras available in the main office. Jump Rope for Heart is a nation-wide program that has been around for 35 years. This program  is for all students who would like to help raise money for the American Heart Association. Students are encouraged to raise as much money through donations as they can for this great program. The great thing about it is that the more money each student raises, the more "thank you gifts" they are eligible to receive! On the back of the envelope it shows you how much money is needed to be raised for each thank you gift level. Every year that I have taught at Roberts, the students and their parents have outdone themselves. Last year we raised over $7,000.00 for the AHA! I would love to raise over $8,000.00 this year!! Every little bit helps, whether it is $1.00 or $100.00. Once your student has finished raising money, they are to turn in their envelope, along with any online donation reports, to me. They may also turn it in to their teacher or the main office, but it will all come back to me. Once I receive all donations, I will send them to the AHA. When the "Thank you gifts" are sent back to me at Roberts, I will host a Jump Rope for Heart event in my PE class with the students to celebrate all that we have accomplished. The event will take place during their Ancillary class time.

All donations are to be turned in NO LATER than Friday, February 28, 2014!

Please let me know if you have any questions about JR4H. Thank you!
